The incredible power of our primal instincts. This book made me consider how the struggle for power can lead to humans doing unspeakable things when they don't have a societal structure with rules and consequences . Humanity, without government, has the potential to degenerate into savagery and anarchy just like what happens in this book. Since I know where these behaviors can lead, it is up to me to be strong enough to resist them for my own and everyone else's good.
